| My landscapes evolve from childhood memories of immense panoramic skies on the coast where I lived when I was young.
Without visible or specific imagery to work from I develop an abstract memory of what I saw then for a fleeting second, the sizzling stillness of a summers day, rolling constant clouds and the infinity of the landscape fading into the distance.
The paintings have a dramatic sense of energy and movement encapsulating mood, emotion and elation in sweeps of bold colour and texture where the imagination can run wild and gleefully free.
